This internationally recognized certification provides a framework for organizations to design and implement an EMS that continuously improves environmental performance. “This achievement reinforces Artecola’s commitment to responsible practices throughout the value chain, especially regarding environmental issues,” says Carlos Enrique Tache Pugliese, General Manager of Artecola Colombia.
By adhering to the standard, Artecola has the tools to ensure the adoption of proactive measures to minimize its environmental impact, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve its environmental objectives. The framework covers various aspects, from resource use and waste management to environmental performance monitoring and stakeholder engagement in environmental commitments.
